Aims and Scope

Biochemoinfo Journal, in addition to general research conducted in the fields of biology and chemistry, bioinformatics ve cheminformatics as well as original studies in rapidly developing disciplines such as bioinformatics and cheminformatics which is a peer-reviewed and internationally open-access journal. Our aim is to support academic knowledge sharing with the wide range of articles we accept and to provide researchers with a reliable platform.

Our journal gladly accepts manuscripts from the following areas:

  • Basic and Applied Biology Studies (general biology, molecular biology, genetics etc.)
  • Basic and Applied Chemistry Studies (general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry etc.)
  • Bioinformatics (genome analysis, proteomics, metabolomics, data mining etc.)
  • Cheminformatics (drug design, molecular modeling, database management etc.)
  • Interdisciplinary Areas (computational biology-chemistry, biotechnology, medical informatics etc.)

As a new journal, at the initial stage we aim to include broad studies to provide more opportunities for researchers and to gradually enrich the journal’s profile over time. This approach increases the recognition of our journal and lays the groundwork for publishing special issues on more specific subtopics in the future.

Biochemoinfo Journal, under its open-access policy, makes all published articles freely accessible and supports the free circulation of knowledge. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
